Mid-Recovery Program Week 1-6 AFTER Physical Therapy
During the Mid-Recovery program of the Total Knee Replacement Made Simple course, you will focus on more advanced strength training and balance exercises to help improve the function of your new knee. These exercises are crucial in building up the muscles around the knee joint, improving stability, and increasing overall strength and range of motion. These are designed to be a guide for those who have been discharged from Physical Therapy but want to continue with safe and effective exercises developed by a PT.
The Mid-Recovery strength training workouts will include a stretching and cardio program, 6-weeks of additional exercises, and printable exercises with descriptions to follow along at home. Each week includes a video to follow along with as you workout with a physical therapist.
These exercises will help to strengthen the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, and other muscles that support the knee joint and aid with balance. It is important to start slow and gradually increase the intensity and weight as your strength improves.
Focus on proper form and technique to prevent any injuries, and always consult with your physical therapist or healthcare provider before starting any new exercises. They can provide guidance on the best exercises for your specific needs and goals and can adjust your workout plan as needed throughout your recovery.
