During Week 2 of our Total Knee Replacement Made Simple course, we will focus on continued strengthening of the legs, and also incorporate some upper body strengthening to aid in your recovery. These drills are crucial for improving your stability and reducing the risk of falls after undergoing a knee replacement surgery. By practicing these exercises, you will not only strengthen the muscles around your knee, but also improve your overall coordination and balance.
These drills will include exercises such as mini squats, hip abduction and extension, and countertop pushups. Through consistent practice, you should notice a significant improvement in your ability to maintain stability and control your movements, leading to a faster recovery and better overall mobility.
