Advanced Recovery Program (week 7-12) AFTER Physical Therapy

During the Advanced Recovery program of the Total Knee Replacement Made Simple course, you will focus on more advanced strength training and balance exercises to help improve the function of your new knee. This series of exercise videos and routines are meant to guide members who are done with Physical Therapy and have completed the Mid-Recovery program. The Advanced Recovery program covers week 7-12 after you have been discharged from Physical Therapy.

The exercise routines in the Advanced Recovery program are essential for mastering daily activities such as walking, climbing stairs, and returning to activities such as gardening, golf, pickleball and other advanced movements.

Throughout this 6-week program, you will work through exercises and balance training designed by a physical therapist. The ultimate goal of the Advanced Program is to help you restore full strength in your knee joint and surrounding muscles, improve your balance and stability, and provide you with the confidence you need to return to doing the activities you love.
